CELEBRATING WOMEN'S DAY WITH A SMALL SERIES INSPIRED BY THE FEMININE INDEPENDENCE & CREATIVITY. WE CHOSE THE HANDS AS OUR OUTLET & FOCAL POINT IN DEMONSTRATING A FRACTION OF THIS DIVINE QUALITY THAT HAPPENS DAILY WITHOUT NOTICE.

My grandmother — mother of nine, the backbone of our family through the hardships of war and poverty — is a woman of quiet strength. Small-boned and slim in figure, she is nonetheless towering in presence. With a devilish sense of humor and an unshakable sense of style, she has remained resilient in the face of every hardship. She still wears humility on her sleeves, honest and unafraid. She turns 90 this year, carrying her family, her sense of self, her history on her small, firm hands.
